How It Works

We email your study materials one module at a time. All materials are supplied in a pdf format so you can save them to your computer and work through them at your own pace. You can also print sections off if you wish. You do not need to be connected to the Internet to work through your study materials.

Each module includes exercises to complete and a tutor-marked assignment. There is also the option to order a printed copy of the course notes to your order.

You are assigned a personal tutor who you can contact at any time if you have any questions or there is anything you would like to discuss in more depth. You work through each module at your own pace, completing the exercises as you go. At the end of each module you complete an assignment which is designed to stretch and develop your writing skills. Assignments can be varied to match your writing ability and stage of development as a medical writer. Your tutor will explain more about this when you enrol.

How Our Online Course Works

When you have completed your assignment you email it to your tutor. He or she will send your next module immediately. Your tutor will also mark your assignment and return it with feedback within 7 days. If you fail an assignment, you can improve it and re-submit it.

Why Online Study?

Distance learning is an effective, flexible way to learn. It means that you study at a distance from your tutor rather than in a classroom. You work through course materials written by specialists and send your assignments to an expert personal tutor, who will also act as a mentor as you lay the foundation for your writing career.

You can also contact your tutor at any stage if you need additional help or advice.

What is Included in the Course Fee?

The course fee covers everything you need to complete your course, including complete study material and full tutorial support.

When Can I Contact my Tutor?

You can contact your tutor by email at any time, and you can get in touch as often as you like.

You can also speak to a member of the support team online up to 9pm (GMT) each evening, 7 days a week. They are able to offer advice on assignments and coursework, as well as well as answering any general questions you might have about your course.
